Flower Basket4195 viewsThis was a kit that I found on sale at a craft store. I liked this design and the colors, but felt it needed a little "something." That was supposed to be a small butterfly, but I never got around to it. And so, this poor flower basket sits, butterfly-less. Will you take pity on it and give it a butterfly? ;D (Really, I'm just kidding. And someday I may still stitch a butterfly on there.)

Seriously, I thoroughly enjoyed making this piece. I haven't got the guts for Hardanger, but there was no cutting involved in this...the "holes" in the fabric were all made with stitches that were pulled tight to create them. In addition, there are beads in this piece.
