Seriously, I thoroughly enjoyed making this piece. I haven't got the guts for Hardanger, but there was no cutting involved in this...the "holes" in the fabric were all made with stitches that were pulled tight to create them. In addition, there are beads in this piece.

Jeweled beaded bar pin2963 viewsThis is a Mill Hill jeweled beaded bar pin kit. This is made in peyote stitch. I made this pin for myself. It kind of has two rows of fringe, though it's impossible to tell from the pic. This is the manufacturer's pic, since mine didn't turn out.
