Very tiny doll sweater (unfinished)

This is a doll sweater I had attempted knitting with two strands of embroidery floss and size 000 needles. I was unhappy with the looseness of the knitting and ripped it out, then started over again with two doll sewing needles. The knitting was much tighter, but I kept stabbing myself with the needle points, leading me to realize I must have a screw loose for knitting with them! ;D

Barb's pinecones and lotus flowers for inspiration! :)

These flowers are sooooo cute...I can picture them in a rainbow of colors for hair ornaments or on a bracelet!
My granddaugher says these look like lotus flowers. I looked them up on the internet and she's right so from now on I'm calling them Lotus Flowers. :)

The Bath4061 viewsFunny story about this one: the cover picture was marked "Kitchen magnet." I haven't quite figured it out...if it's supposed to be a magnet, to what would it stick in a bathroom? If it's supposed to be for the kitchen, why does it say "The Bath"? Placement dilemmas aside, the heart behind the swans wasn't supposed to be stitched solid, but I made it solid because I preferred it that way. And there were two flowers that were supposed to be there, which I didn't like. So I didn't include them. Finally, this included a plastic frame I didn't like, so for now it's unframed.

Flower motifs in flat, round peyote stitch3866 viewsThis was my first bead commission. On the spot I had to learn flat, round peyote stitch. I found it a very enjoyable technique, and not hard to do at all!

Carl & Diana6322 viewsSome friends of mine were getting married, and I wanted to create something special for them. When the bride told me blue was her favorite color, I created this design to stitch onto fingertip towels to give as a wedding gift.

Little Red Riding Hood cape, as worn by my Kelly doll3443 viewsThis is a Little Red Riding Hood cape (pattern by Karen Kolleth, a.k.a. KazKnitz), modeled by my Kelly doll, which I made for my friend's Kelly doll. My friend dressed up as Little Red Riding Hood for Halloween one year, and I wanted her to have something matching for her "mini-me." I used size 3 cotton. It was hard to work with, but the results were definitely worth it!
