When I was making the jewelry I used a lot of crystal. I tried many different ways to get good pictures and what worked best for me was a light box which you can find instructions for on the internet.

You're right BetwixTheStitch, the photos don't do them any justice. It might have helped if the day I took the pics it was a bit more brighter outside.
